Other ways to determine location if no gps signal..? Hi I am new to this but I managed to create the simple app 'Frie Selskabslokaler' I compiled it and installed it on my android phone. so far so good. One of my menu screens is a location map with the location of my business. When I enter the location maps screen the device location is not updated because gps is not active in the location maps screen. It just shows the last known location. But when I return to the home screen the gps becomes active an updates the device location... Why is this happening. What can I do to change this? I have also installed the app on an other android phone and the same gps active/inactive confusion applies. Second question. Is there any other way to determine the location of device if there is no gps signal. Settings to use network for location or something?
