Can I return to the home screen, or another screen, from HTML?

I'd like the ability to display a button via HTML/HTTP that would trigger the app to return to the Home Screen or any particular screen. Couldn't find anything obvious in a forum search. Any tips? Thanks!

If the other screen is another HTML screen, then you just set that filename as the destination for the link...just like any other button or link on a web page. If you are trying to to go back to another type of screen - like a search or menu list screen - then you can set a Back button on the browser that shows when the HTML file is viewed, and which will take you back to your previous screen.

Thanks. I was hoping for a method to specify one of the other, non-HTML screens as you described. I'll design around the use of the Back button instead.

Hey pugfugly , It is a bit trick to go to a screen from a HTML page, but it can be done. You'll have to do some coding similar to what is found here: http://davinccoder.wordpress.com/2011/06/28/call-ios-method-for-html-button-click/
