Can't get a virtual device to run in Eclipse, to run an android 1.5 app.

Hello, I wrote about this about 2 weeks ago, but I can't find the post :) Anyway, still stuck trying to get an eclipse virtual device set up & working for a 1.5 android app. I had eclipse woking perfectly for the 1.4 apps about 6 months ago, but I need various things updated now to run 1.5 android. My available list of virtual devices are as follows: android 1.6 API 4 my AVD android 1.6 API 8 google4 google APIs 1.6 API 4 Galaxy 2.2 API 8 Android23 2.3.1 API 9 From what I gather I think I need in here, google API 8. The problem is how do I get that. My installed packages include: android SDK tools rev 13, android SDK platform toools rev 7, SDK android platform right up to 3.2, API 13. Google APIS right up to API 13, including google API 8 rev 2. Available packages: Heaps still here, but I've downloaded them numerous times and usually I get an error about not being able to move/copy a folder due to permissions. I had googled this before and tried lots of fixes includingally manually moving the stuff, turning off my anitivirus, etc, but still no luck. I'm kindof at the end of my tether and have no more ideas :( If anyone could offer any insight, had any ideas that would be great. I am happy to pay as well to get this sorted! Thanks again HUGELY, Elaine.

Ok, so I needed a new virtual device [AVD] with google 2.2 Api 8, to run my buzztouch 1.5 android app. I didn't realise I needed to make one, rather than downlonad one from somewhere!! :) Thank you to MGoBlue: You'll also need to create a virtual device that works with the new Google API version. You want to open the Android SDK and AVD Manager and select 'New' to create the device. [You can now choose google 2.2 API 8 if you scroll down!!!] Devices created for previous versions of the API won't work. Virtual device now launched, and its at 70% building for the last hour. I'll see what happens, fingers crossed. UPDATE: Nothing was happening so I closed it. Made another new virtual device, same google APi 8 again. New name, put in a value in the Sd card field. Selected it & low & behold it worked!! Yay.
