Using Excel docs

I have my excel sheet in the BT_docs folder and I can see it in Xcode and the data is there. But when I put the name of the excel file in screen and menus section for the screen it should be with it, it never opens in the simulator. I cannot get excel or word docs to show up. I get the following message on the simulator Data for this screen has not been downloaded. Please check your internet connection Any thoughts to how to use Excel docs in your apps? Thanks,

@Bozo1, I'm assuming that you haven't disconnected the app from the BT servers? Meaning, the app still checks the BT servers for changes in the BT_Config.txt file? If it still is, then you probably just need to refresh from the main screen...hit the button on the upper left-hand corner, then try to access your file again. It should work. Also, make sure there are no spaces in your document name....that would prevent it from working as well. Mark

Mark. Thanks. Yes still connected and refreshed with simulator to pick up changes. Also did a file clean in Xcode. Not sure why it's not picking up the xls file.

Hi Bozo1, It sounds like you might not be recompiling your app after adding the files to your project. Double check that the files are there in xcode and then 'Stop' and then 'Run' your app. Let me know if that works for you.
