IDEA for an app no idea where to start

Absolutely no programming experience It is an app for PE teachers to record times. Basically, a stopwatch function. A spreadsheet function, where there is a roll call number and/or student names. As students finish the mile a quick click on their name or number would record the time. ANY IDEAS

Native functionality in the Buzztouch software won't cover what your asking. I think you'd need to build a database and script that function first and then work that into the app.

Hi thunderdanm72, As got fox? mentions, what you're asking for isn't a ready to go screen type within the current version of buzztouch. However, buzztouch projects are highly flexible in that you can modify the source code as you see fit. Also, buzztouch projects support the use of many different languages like HTML and java which can be used to create all kinds of things. So, with a little work on your end (or that of a developer you hire) you can essentially fill in the gaps that aren't covered by one of the buzztouch screen types. There are lots of options here for you. I would suggest taking some time to play around with all of the different screen types available, and to read the Documentation found in the 'Help' sections of this website.

I have found a MS excel spreadsheet that will accomplish what I need. Can the spreadsheet be imported? I see it as one of the option in the drag down menu.

Yes there is the option of loading a excel file for a screen. I'm not sure it is editable within the app, but worth a try. One option to consider is having a Custom HTML screen with a form that send entered data to a .php file that enters the data into a database of yours. Then you can have another screen that queries that database through another .php script to display the stored data.
