How do I run my app on actual Iphone? ( Newbie)

Ok, Downloaded xcode, run simulator. Created half decent first app. Iphone 4.3. How do I generate an output file so that I can test this on the device itself? BEen through every item on Xcode menu bar. Thanks

Hi Kiteboy. You would first need a developer account at Apple. This will set you back 99$/year. After paying Apple's fee, you can set your provisioning profiles which include settings for developing and distribution. Your iPhone needs to be set up in Xcode in order to test on it. There are some steps to follow afterwards but it is redundant to talk about them at this stage. So just decide if you want in on this and you will get all the help you need. Have a better day, Vali

Hi Kiteboy, See Installing onto a device below that was Posted: Thu, Oct. 27 2011 10:10 AM (pst). It is very similar to your post and received a good answer from GoNorthWest AKA Mark. Harry.
