Installing onto a device

OK...after A LOT of time getting the software and everything set up right I was finally able to get my hello world test to run in the simulator and my first app to run as well. Is there a way to install this onto my device now or do I have to set it up in a marketplace. Also, I have a question about which API to use for tablets I posted earier if anyone has advice on that. Thanks in advance! While frustrating at times this has been a great experience!

Hi @Vapermedic, From the sounds of what you wrote, this is an Android app, correct? If so, you can export the project as an .apk file (in either debug or release), post it on the web somewhere (like DropBox), and then surf over to the file using your devices browser. It will allow you to install from there. Easy as that! With respect to the API, I think you have to use the API as specified in the BT documentation. I think it has to do more with the code base that the project is built on, and not so much what device it will run on. But I'm not entirely sure...still learning there. Mark

Hi guys, You'll want to use Google's API 2.2 level 8 for your v1.5 Android projects. This should work fine with all devices, as Mark mentioned.
