Android 1.5 app menu items not displaying word or image files

Hi David & company! Im so happy to become part of the Buzztouch community. You're great and you help so many people, more than you can imagine. Totally new here. Question: I tried to make a simple app, my 2nd one, with embedded word files, following the instructions as to dragging the word files like sample1.doc in the Asset/word doc & image folders of the unzipped code I downloaded. Menu items, when I pressed any, do not show the word files. And the header image does not show in my app too, though the app successfully installed in my tablet with other main menu customizations. The image is represented by a plain red square in the center of the header area. Tried tinkering with my customizations in the Buzztouch control panel, revised my app 3x by now. Same issue. Please anyone answer. Thanx. Also, Eclipse displays this: Waiting for HOME ('android.process.acore') to be launched... after I launched the emulator, trouble is it's taking forever...maybe a non-issue because the app ran in my tablet. Wish you great future. Android 1.5. Thanx again.

Tried several workarounds. Mostly fixed this - I had to import the intended docs & images into the proper asset/folders. But when I run my 2 apps in my phone) instead of displaying the pdf & word files Android 1.5), it says open with which app? offering 2 SMS apps, but not pdf or word readers (like in my android 1.4 app that displays both types of files perfectly). Tried to choose Do not use native app in BT screen control panel... the issue remains. Been working on this for 3 days now, please anyone help... Thanks in advance.
