buzztouch Server 2.0 Talk Thread

I guess I will start it off. I just can't wait for this to open up on November 1st. I was just talking about something like this to my development team. This puts us in a whole new position in the forefront of mobile app development. I am glad to be a part of this and will continue to be. Now reading over the road map, I have a clear understanding of the new system. But I only have one question: Will the 2.0 server have individual dashboard account functions or each client to make changes to such as Mobile Roadie's system? (Dare to speak there name here, sorry) :)

Yup. User Management is included in the first release. It's minimal but useful. You create user accounts...admin or normal. Normal users can login and manage apps they own (you assign owners or they create new apps themself). Admin users (your team) can work with any apps in your panel. There is not a user registration system intentionally. Users are added by admins. Implementing such a feature would be trivial but most folks already have such a routine in existing system so an integration process seems more logical as we move forward. In other words, easy hooks to add new users from your buzztouch Servers API. Yes, it has a minimal API to allow other system to access what you allow them too, like stats, user account, app data, etc. Imagine a little snippet on a website that pulls content from your API showing a map, latest users, etc, etc. API's are cool and everyting becomes possible when you control the data and have easy access to it. Stoked about this. The basic idea; you help your clients however you see fit. The 'permission' system is basic intentionally but will be very easy to extend to things such as allowing a teammate access to only 'certain apps' and not all apps like admin have....etc, etc. Tons of options here.

Just a quick question, will you have a App Port so I could port my app from buzztouch.com to buzztouch server 2.0 so I can have the new features like client login?

Can anyone point me to some info about buzztouch server 2.0 - like cost, setup, features, overview, or just anything? :) I also am major excited about this, and would love to get some more info!
