Made a mistake

I recently made some changes to a couple of my apps that are live in the AppStore. The apps refreshed perfectly for me but apparently those that download the app fresh are not being prompted to ever refresh their app. Certain things wont work unless the app is refreshed. It has resulted in a ton of poor reviews. Did I make a mistake? Do I need to submit an update to fix this I guess. Was hoping I could always make changes on the fly.

You can make changes on the fly so long as certain settings aren't disabled. If end users aren't being prompted to refresh their app after you made changes to your projects control panel, it sounds like you altered the Configuration Data URL and Report to Cloud URL settings in your apps Core Properties. Set them back to default and users should be prompted to refresh when changes are made. Of course if users are using a version of your app that isn't checking for updates, you'll have to resubmit an update to the App Store to get those users running the current 'fixed' version of your app.

I never altered any of those settings. Not sure what's going on. Huge bummer. Tryin to update and now Im getting code signing errors. Only think I change was I updated Xcode and now I'm getting issues. Sigh. Nothing is ever easy for me. Lol
