BT1.5 and iPhone with iOS 5 (email pdf issue)

When you click on the email button on a PDF, I get function not available on this device. Anyone? I have a large automotive show to attend next week and the app is our biggest new thing for the show. This function is the last function holding me back. Appreciate the help in advanced.

I have a v1.5 app, compiled using Xcode 3.2/SDK 4.2, running on iOS, and I am able to email the PDF. What versions are you running?

Maybe embed one in the project, make sure it works before continuing. This may also 'get you through the show' From memory (way to many things going on to remember everything)....if it's from a URL it may not be email-able. Have a look at the BT_screen_webView.m file. Look for the method that does the emailing. The logic should be easy enough to understand. Keep in mind a few things. In the code, localFileName refers to files (pdfs) compiled with the app. dataURL refers to URL's to documents. I'll bet the message you are seeing is becaues the code is looking for a localFileName that doesn't exist (becuase you're using a URL, not a local file). If this is all true, I guess the next step would be to hack around a bit to see if you can get the pdf to download, save, then email.

@David I'm using local pdf's , docs but no. None of them can be emailed. Not in my ipad or my iphone. But images works to email. Is there some sort of a bug here? The email button is grayed when its a doc or pdf bit not a image. The app I'm working on is 1.5 for IOS. BR/Stefan
