Hello, Today I tried to validate my app with xCode Organizer and I got a weird ass error ;o error: /usr/bin/codesign --force --preserve-metadata --sign iPhone Developer: Alexander Soloviev (V9Z4T943F7) --resource-rules=/var/folders/np/fgz20my91rn01wzlpdh3hfww0000gn/T/_CRoIrvz1R/Payload/alex054739fanapplication.app/ResourceRules.plist /var/folders/np/fgz20my91rn01wzlpdh3hfww0000gn/T/_CRoIrvz1R/Payload/alex054739fanapplication.app failed with error 1. Output: iPhone Developer: Alexander Soloviev (V9Z4T943F7): ambiguous (matches iPhone Developer: Alexander Soloviev (V9Z4T943F7) and iPhone Developer: Alexander Soloviev (V9Z4T943F7) in /Users/alexandersoloviev/Library/Keychains/login.keychain) does anyone know whats up with the error? This is probably to do with the Code Signing. When you install your Developer and Distribution certificates in Keychain access and they come up in Xcode, select your Developer one to deploy to people yourself, or if you are sending to the app store, select your Distribution certificate. Make sure Skip Install is set to know, plug your iphone or ipod in, select your device at the top of the xcode window, and click build and archive. then organiser will appear with your app. Any problems, just respond.

Make sure the certificate matches a certificate and a private key. If it doesnt, then the app will not be able to archive because it cannot identify the developer. If your certificate does match up, then try code signing as a distributor. Try developer first, as that is what you should use by default, but if this does not work, try your distribution certificate, and make sure you have a provisioning profile active that is connected to the certificates.

Try two things: 1) In keychain, VIEW-Show Expired Certificates. See if you have expired ones conflicting with the new ones 2) Right click the error. Xcode is good about walking you through what went wrong
