How do I store and transfer the app after successful simulation in Xcode?

I got the app opened in Xcode's and it's running well in all the iOS simulators - but how do I store the app from Xcode so I can run it on my actual iPhone? Sorry to ask, but I am a beginner and I'm so pleased I got this far, the app is looking great in the simulator...

Hi Annika, Check out this guide provided by apple on getting your app on your device: http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/ToolsLanguages/Conceptual/Xcode4UserGuide/Devices/Devices.html

Hi, many thanks! It also seems I need to sign the applications using certificates and, in order to do, so sign up for apples charged development program - am I right? I wasn't planning to put my application to the stores, only using it myself and distribute via facebook and my webpage to friends, and I thought that was possible to do for free, but I suppose that is not possible?

You are correct. If you want to distribute apps for iOS you'll need to have a paid developer account. There are other less legal methods, but please don't ask about those here.

I will become a developer today, it will be fun, and it sounds really good for a rookie like me - Developer iOS.... :) Now I have to build more apps. Thanks again.
