path for project must have only on segment

I am on a Windows 7 using Eclipse indio. I have followed the directions to try to view a simple app in the emulator. I think I have followed them exactly. I am able to get the project to show up in the package explorer but whEN I try to run it I get the above error message. I have searched the web and this forum but cannot figure out what I am doing wrong.

I did spell it properly on google. Yes, there are lots of sites addressing this question, all offering totally different solutions. The ones I tried did not work. I thought someone from the buzztouch community may have received the same message and would be able to advise me.

No. The name was already filled in. I updated my avd and android in case that was the trouble. now am getting other errors so the path problem may have been related to using the wrong version of the plug ins. thank you.
