Formatting issues iOS & Android

Hi everyone...please excuse my question if it has already been asked. I am creating an app. which will be released for both iOS & Android. I have the app. on my iPod and Android. On the iPod the formatting (text, pictures, and title screens are perfectly aligned. However, when I open it up on my Android, the formatting is off (text is larger, several pictures are not centered, title screens are cut (due to large font). I am using 1.4 version (1.5 is not an option right now). I am designing the app. however I do not have access to the back end as we have a programmer doing this for us. Any advice or tip/tricks to make both iOS and Android format equally would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! James

Hi James, The app should appear fairly similar on either device. There will of course be differences due to differences in resolutions, etc. You'll have basically 3 options. 1) Tweak your app settings so both apps look closer to one another, for example using a smaller font size so the text doesn't go off screen. 2) Create a second app that you will customize the settings specifically for use on an android device. 3) Manually tweak some code in either of your project downloads to get one or the other to look more like the other one.
