When used as the header image, I get a white background (this is what I have set the background to) but I get a red background behind the image, instead of the transparency effect that is built in. If this is Android it might just be a bug that needs to be worked out. But first we should check to see that it's not just the image or a setting on that screen or the theme that is causing this. Maybe send me the image, email ( parker at buzztouch dot com ) or link it by URL so I can have a look and see if I notice anything.
