app now on app store Thanks BT

Well after 2 rejections and one appeal I have finally launched my first app on the app store. Can I say a big thanks to all the Forum people that helped me and of course BT for giving me the tool to create something that I could not have done so without them! great work and hopefully this will be the start of many. Special thanks to McGoBlue and Stefan - you blokes rock! Thanks Tony http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/instant-access/id465296768?ls=1&mt=8

Whoohoo!!! Great news! Glad to hear that you didn't give up and finally made it al the way to the app store. I downloaded the app. I tested to call but got error messages like ~Error~and after a while I got the iOS Error Code:- 1001 iOS Error Message: The request timed out. Probably because I'm in Sweden? Might check it out. You might consider to use iphone specific css for your forms in the hire a lift section. Nice design. Otherwise great app. BR/Stefan

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm not sure what's happening with the phone call Stefan, it was working on my IPhone test prior to distribution? Will check it out. Yes the CSS format in the form was not my best option but I'm a bit lost on how to change it due to using Google forms. Do you know a way to change the CSS and where I can source the detail of the CSS for iPhone. I only used Goggle forms to enable data capture which works fine but I agree the format is not ideal for this platform (ie small screens) The app was my first attempt so I have a bit of up skilling to do! Hope the call function can be sorted out - I'll let you know how I go. CEEUP- It took me several weeks of partime effort at night after work to do this app. A lot of work to reformat the photos and HTML that I pulled from their website. They hard coded much of the design in their webpages which didn't help when it came to importing it into my app. Thanks again for the feedback. Tony

Hi Stefan fixed the call issues - when I went in to fix the format of the phone number I put the wrong telephone number in! All works fine now. You raise a good point though about adding the country code in phone numbers. Perhaps not an issue for this app as only Australian residents will use it but food for thought on any wider application use (for international users).

@TonyM - Excellent! Yeah I think that one always should make the app as international as possible (even as you say that I might not be your customer ). But thinking that someone else that is not checking your app for the content in it but rather for the possibility to contact the developer it's a good point to make everything working as smooth as possible. You never know if a company in the apps field want to make the same kind of app here in Sweden. Good to know you fixes your issues. I have not tested the google forms yet, so I have no suggestions here. BR/Stefan

@Stefan I sorted out the forms issue - I found a great alternative called JotForm. It's a great forms builder and capture of forms data. I will port the link on the forum for those people that need this functionality.

I just tried JotForm. Very handy and easy to setup and use. Custome URL and that's all the work you need in BT. http://www.jotform.com Thanks for passing that info in to us....
