iAds Test Advertisement positioning wrong...

Hi Anyone know why the iAds test bar shows above the apps tab bar, instead of below it? Is there a code fix for this? Many thanks Terry

Hi Terry, I'm not sure that isn't the intended positioning for the add banner. I'll run it by David tomorrow when we're all back in the office though.

Terry, I finally got an answer on this one. Basically the buzztouch control panel doesn't allow this because it goes against Apple's Developer Guidelines for the use of a tabUIController ( <- name might be slightly different) , which we use for that type of screen. You could go and create your own screen to achieve this sort of layout, but then you'd run into a situation where your app might not get approved.

You can totally have adds on your apps, they just aren't supposed to be below the tab buttons.

Thanks for your continuing help Parker. Im still a bit confused. How do I enable iAds on each, or any of my sections in the app with the correct positioning?

Just enable the ads on whatever screen you want them to be on in your apps control panel options for any screen. Just like you did in the image you displayed above. The image you posted shows the ad in the correct positioning. The tabs are supposed to be on the bottom with everything else above it, including ads.
