Photo App

I dont know if this is possible or not, but i have 99 images i have created. I want to display these images as a gallery so my users can have At A Glance look of all the images i have made. From there they can select which ever image they find of interest and open it. However, i want them to also be able to flick through the images to the next one without having them to keep on going backward and forward. I know with the Menu - Buttons option i can create a thumbnail gallery but that wont allow my users to flick through to the next image directly and for that i need to create all the images in the Image Gallery menu but that wont allow me to have a thumbnail gallery! Can anyone guide me to how i can best achieve this....? I just want something simple as the Photo App on the iPhone.

There may be an easier way to do this, but I think you can set it up as follows: First, stream your images from a server. Flickr works great. Set up your app icons with menu buttons. Each menu button opens a different image gallery. For each image gallery, under advanced image properties, set the screen data url to your photo stream (should be the same for all image galleries). For instance, for flickr use something like: http://api.flickr.com/services/rest/?method=flickr.photosets.getPhotos&api_key=YOUR_API_KEY&photoset_id=INSERT_YOUR_PHOTOSET&format=json Then under Gallery Behavior, set 'Start Image Index (number)' to the number of the corresponding image. It's a bit cumbersome to set up, but I think this should give you the desired result.

MGoBlue, you have given me an idea. What about if i used the Menu - Buttons to create 99 thumbnails for my images -> Then each menu button opens a different image gallery -> Then under each image gallery i import my 99 images -> Then under Gallery Behavior, I set the 'Start Image Index (number)' to the number of the corresponding image on the thumbnail. This way they can flick forward or back. This way i can avoid using Flickr, however, my only concern would be...... am i going to be using up stupid memory on my user's iPhone as technically speaking, under the buzztouch control panel i i am creating 99 Image Gallery fatures and under each Image Gallery i am adding another 99 images.

That should work too. That way your app doesn't need an Internet connection. Good luck.

Thanks @Art_Malik. The only way I know for sure is to compile the app (archive and share), then check the size there.
