Facebook and Google Map Features Now Working (and how I fixed them)

Ok, so I have been having issues with facebook and google maps. The Facebook and Google Maps functionality would only work in the emulator and when operating on debug mode. Here is everything I tried that did not work: 1. Deleting the Facebook and Location Map features in the Buzztouch Console, then re-adding them. 2. I checked, double-checked and triple-checked that all my hash's and MD5s were correct. 3. I deleted my source-code, re-downloaded the source-code from Buzztouch and entered all the correct hashs, uncommented the maps...yadda, yadda, yadda. Well sufficed to say all those things apparently did not matter. When I originally uploaded my App, I failed to change the android:apiKey=@string/googleMapsAPIKeyDebug in strings.xml to Release and I failed to add the Facebook information in AndroidManifest.xml PRIOR TO SIGNING AND PACKAGING the scource-code. Whenever I would make changes to the googlemapsapidebug or release keys, they would never update on my Mobile device, but would work in the emulator Whenever I would make changes to the facebook fields, they would never update on my Mobile Device, but would work in the emulator So to solve my issues, I downloaded the source-code again and did all the of the following: 1. Set the androidmanifest.xml debuggable setting to false 2. In androidmanifest.xml uncommented the maps code 3. in screen_locationmap.xml changed the apikey from debug to release 4. in Act_ActivityBase.java uncommneted the ShowLocationMap() code and removed the warning 5. Since I was plainning to repackage and upload to Android Market, I had to do the following: In androidmanifest.xml, I increased the VersionCode from 1 to 2 and increased the VersionName from 1.4 to 1.5 Then I cleaned, exported, signed, and uploaded my app. I activated the new upload and it automatically de-activated the previous release. My device told me I needed an update, and after I did so, my Facebook and Google Maps are now working. So the only thing I can think of (which most everyeine else here probably knows) is that you must have your two debug settings set to false and release PRIOR to packaging and signing Also, you must add your Facebook information PRIOR to packaging and signing. I hope this helps any else having the same issues. Sweet now my stuff works!!!!!!!!

Oh and one more thing, I tried setting all my settings to Release mode and then updating the settings in Buzztouch and Eclipse, but they still did not take effect on my Mobile Device until after So to solve my issues... above.
