how can i test my app on my own android mobile instead?

hello can you please advise on how i can use my android mobile to test the app instead of waiting to see if the emulator works, The reason for this is because when i finally managed to get it work it said it could not read the sd card of which i did find some what amusing seeing as it is only software based. can you please advise because now i need some sleep and i will look forward to some advise. Thank you in advance lee

Connect your phone/tablet to the PC that you have eclipse installed on. You need to make sure you have the USB drivers for your phone installed on the PC. In Eclipse when you select run configurations like you would for testing the simulator you will see your phone as the android device. Select that and it will install the application on your phone/tablet.
