Going-Viral Apple Fan Posts: 120 Reg: Jun 13, 2011 Doncaster 1,200	confirm \| cancel 10/07/11 06:29 AM (14 years ago) Android 1.5 Errors - Calling All Experts I have my Android Project in Eclipse with the Build Target set as Google APIs Platform - 2.2 API Level 8. I have created a new Virtual Device, again specifying the same target as the project. I cleaned the project and then built and run it. The app is running but I still have 100 of 189 warnings in the problems tab. In addition I have these in App issues: * menu links that call PDF's in my iOS app are opening an email compose window in Android * RSS Feeds aren't working (Open Eclipse - Look at the BT_screen_rssReader.java file) * the bottom tabbed navigation disappears when clicking a menu link which has a sub menu to follow * Flickr gallery feeds aren't working (Open Eclipse - Look at the BT_screen_images.java file) * In maps I get a location pin open in a Google Maps window but no actual map, not sure if this is a true error or just a result of running in an emulator * Links which should open a email compose window result in a message appearing saying Open with which app? No applications can perform this action. Is anyone experiencing this difficulties? Does anybody have workrounds or is it just a case of me having my project of vitual device configured incorrectly? No worries though, not a lot of people take the time to go through readme files anymore, so you're not the first, and wont be the last to skip this. Have a look and if any of your errors don't appear to be related to what is covered in there, then post about it here and we'll try to help you out. We realize that reading a readme file is about as fun as getting your teeth pulled. It's way more fun to just dive into the program and start playing around. :D I haven't talked to David yet today, but the phase 2 release should be really close. Comments LOL!
