IOS 1.5: Question about connecting to a restu

Hi All I have an iOs app built with BT that is already in the app store. It is a Music news app that provides information about new releases, photos, videos and sample mp3s. When the app was built the BT mp3 player was pulling a sample MP3 from a physical location on a Web server. I need to change this approach. I was told that I must connect to an existing API that the company hosting the music catalog has. Now, the output should be something similar to this: http://images.amplified.com/FLVStream/Catalog/e6691a61-68f0-428c-873e-bf667dcd863b/Product/3ebc562c-0192-45ea-9dc6-da7ed98710ca/00000000000023782425-128K_44S_2C_cbr1x_clipped_0001_102.mp3 Can someone familiar with connecting to APIs share some thoughts on how I could do this? Thanks in advance M.

Hi stoneypointe, The details of this are of course dependent on the API and what it is expecting. But here is an idea that may work: Have your .mp3 player screen draw its data from a URL set in that screens Advanced Properties. At that URL you'll have a .php file that will communicate with the API and return the .mp3 file.

Hi Parker As a temporary not ideal situation, I have the app pulling directly from independent urls that i managed to get, like the one above. Of course this a manual process and not ideal when you are managing 100s of mp3s. I would look into your suggestion. I could swear that I saw a sample php somewhere on the documentation or the forum, but now can't find it. Thank you M.
