Missing Base SDK!!!

Hey guys. I compiled my app to XCode and It says Missing Base SDK. I noticed that the Base SDK is iphoneos4.2. When I tried to change it to a lower SDK I get an error when I tried to build & run the app on Simulator. BTW, I'm using Xcode 4.2 Is there a way I can get the SDK 4.0+ or does anyone have those SDKs?

Your build settings are not right. Happens alot. Open the Build Settings and choose the latest Base SDK installed on your machine. No need to build againt a lower base sdk. See this maybe: http://www.iphonedevsdk.com/forum/iphone-sdk-development/90028-build-error-iphone-3g.html
