Multiple location map - Please explain if this is where everyone using app. will be displayed.

Hi! If you use the Multiple or Single location map (I added my information and saved it - and I can see my pin location), once the app. is published/downloaded, will all users of the app. be seen as a pin? Thanks...new at this!

Each user will see only themselves as a pin if you have it enabled if that is what you are asking. They won't see each other unless you're coding your app for others to network and see other users' location.

Thanks! ...sorry for being to vague. I guess I am not sure how to make either happen within the app. In 1.4 it asks to put in Lat/Long and I just added my own. Not sure how to have all users see where the app. is being used. Thanks!

I haven't used 1.4 so I'm not sure, but I would think that you would just enter [deviceLatitude] and [deviceLongitude] in those fields and it would replace that with the actual device latitude and longitude.

If I understand correctly, you're wanting to show the usage map that is on the app dashboard on BT? To my knowledge, that is not currently possible. It has been inquired upon previously and may have been added to the to-do list.

Thanks! I was hoping there was a way that the user (on their phone/etc.) would be able to see how many people have downloaded and are using the app.

It could be possible, but you'd have to change the report to cloud URL to something that you are in control of which can store all of that data and then parse it back out to the map, etc. Not easy and straight forward for most of us.

If you just want to see this usage info for yourself, a usage map is already part of your app control panel in BT. You do, however, need to have the app activate GPS when it starts, and Apple is only cool with that if the app needs it for particular features. In any event...check the usage map in your control panel!
