Third App, First Not Free, Available in iTunes! AZ Fishing Spots!

Got my first paid app ($0.99) approved a few minutes ago. This is the third app I have created and published with Buzztouch. Thanks, guys! http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/az-fishing-spots/id468548506?ls=1&mt=8 If you are a fisherman and ever think you might land up in AZ, you should drop a buck for this app! ;-) Mark

I just checked out your app OVFPS. Only thing I noticed was the Schedule is showing a Homework Calendar. Did you mean to do that?

Hi @GrammySuz - if this in the download version of the app? That's how I had it initially set up, since we were going to use Google Calendars for the schedule (and probably still will). So, I used my daughters class homework calendar as a placeholder. But, if you refresh the app, it should be showing you an Excel spreadsheet with the current Fall Ball season schedule on it. Thanks! Mark

Duh, didn't think to refresh. How does the normal user know to refresh the app?

@GrammySuz : The app is supposed to alert you that content has changed, and ask if you want to refresh. There is an option you can configure in the code to force a refresh...I may have to activate that just to make sure my users have the latest and greatest information.

The app won't alert user of any changes on first download, only when user opens it for a second time

@gonorthwest : I'm building a similar app, just listing retail locations instead of fishing spots. I'm having trouble figuring out how to upload a list of stores to a map from a database. Hoping you could shed some light on how you accomplished this in your app? Thanks in advance for the help! -Matt
