Uploading My App

I'm having a problem uploading my App.I followed the videos step by step, but I must have missed something. I've done Hello World and a few other things. I've tried different emulators, on the sdk/eclipse side, I've even been able to work with strings.xml, (from a another tutorial) but I can't upload from the downloaded source code for my apps. Thanks!!

This is the first message I get after selecting the folder: An Eclipse project already exists in this directory. Consider using File > Import > Existing Project instead. Maybe this is where my problem starts. When I try importing it,I got one X in the Screen_Video.java folder. Thanks again for your assistance.

Try this? File -> New Android Project. In the Contents Tab in New Android Project, select Create project from existing source and choose the Build Target (the downloaded buzztouch folder) getting Android set up at first can be a little confusing, the buzztouch tutorials are pretty right on so it might be a small step ur missing...report back :0

ianjamespiano, I tried each of those steps. File >New Android > Create Project from existing source > Select Buzztouch folder. This is where the problem starts. I either get the message to try import or File AndroidManifest.xml not found in samples. Are the samples supposed to be loaded? Also, what TARGETS should I have loaded. Currently, I have Android 1.6, 2.2, 3.0, 3.1, 3.2, Google APIs 2.3.3, 3.0, 3.1, and 3.2. So this is where I am at this point.

HI Filmmaker, Google API's version 1.6 checkbox should be checked. Eclipse should check this automatically. If it did not, something is wrong. so it is not being selected?

Hi ianjamespiano, I think I had that box checked also. The other message I was getting had to do with not having -androidmanifest.xml was not in samples. It gave a message at the bottom of the page also. Unfortunately, I'm not on my computer right now.

Have you tried re-downloading the source code and deleting the old project from eclipse?

When you get home see if the Google API version 1.6 is getting checked automatically :)

Hi ianjamespiano, I tried those and for some reason they didn't work. I tried copying the source code folder to a new android project folder and that seemed to work on last night. This morning I tried that again and this time the only error i got was an (X) Screen_video Java. Do you know how to get rid of that one? I guess I'm almost there. Thanks again!!
