@nasdaq12, are you a programmer? buzztouch is more about content management, but you can do tons of really cool things with that content...as far as a first person shooter game, you definitely need to be a programmer to create something like that..u thinking like Call of Duty or Halo? Love both those games!!:)

Yup exactly Ianjames….i'm just new to programming….Content Management..does that mean we can only build utility like apps, view based, navigation based apps, also how do i set a location on an app to find where the user is and nearest places to go i.e bars, restaurants... and oh yeah love those games :-)

Yes, that os pretty much what Content Management means, like the others I have made JavaScript type games with buzztouch, but 1st person shooter is a whole other thing Is link will help you with the thought process for your location map question..good luck and have fun!! http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=BCA171F33F177A631711BE5&status=&searchInput=Location&sortColumn=FT.dateStampUTC&sortUpDown=DESC¤tPage=1&doViews=1

Hi Nasdaq, As the others in this thread have mentioned, the standard available buzztouch screen are geared towards content management (How do you display information). But there are games like the built in quiz screen. You can also, as mentioned, use custom HTML screens to power games. Even if those options don't work for you because you want to program you own game, the base project download from buzztouch can save you a boat load of time. Why build a house from scratch when you could start one with the foundation already built? ;) To get a sense of what buzztouch can already do with built in screens, please review the Documentation and videos available under the 'Help' link at the top of this page. They're both full of useful information and explain the flexibility of a buzztouch project.
