Android, BT1.5 HTML to open URL

When I add html to an html page...to open a web page url it opens within the app. Is there a trick to getting it to open in the stock browser?

Wouldn't you want it to open within the app to keep the user in the app? If they leave your app they have, well eh, left the app. You'll be able to to it with some jigery pokery I would imagine but don't believe that is an option at moment, will have a wee peek and see if I see anything.

I agree...however BT 1.5 seems to hang very badly when trying to open a page. In most cases the page never loads.

Hangs.....it shouldn't. Have a look at the LogCat console and see what URL it's trying to load? If you want to a URL in the native browser you have a few options. a) Wait until we finish phase 2. The 'launch native app' option will be included with that update. b) Have a look at the shouldOverrideUrlLoading method in the BT_screen_webView.m file. This is the section of code that determines if the URL should load in the regular browser or in the native browser. You'll see a call to BT_act_controller.canLoadDocumentInWebView. This method simply looks at the URL and returns YES or NO. Have a look at that method too.
