In the meantime, you can manually hide the status bar on any screen. Have a look at the BT_activity_root.java file (this is the first activity that loads) and look around line 95 / 96. If you uncomment the section about FULL_SCREEN flags the status bar should hide. Do the same thing in BT_activity_root_tabs.java. Should work until we get an update posted.
