Google MAP Shows Chinese Lettering in Google Simulator

I hope this isn't considered a cross post. Need help with the following. I followed all the directions, step by step on installing the Google Maps feature. I uncommenting the files and adding google keys. Also watched video. PROBLEM: Only Google Simulator shows the changes. I see the red locations and grid, but the writing is in CHINESE! See screen shot: http://goinggreenfilmfestival.com/map-chinese.jpg When you click on the locations, the correct information shows in English. Any advice? Thanks.

I figured this one on my own. When imputing Longitude and Latitude, I didn't have the negative (-) symbol in front of the number. Problem solved.

Good fix...alread helping yourself ;-) I saw the map and thought... Hmm...it's supposed to be in Chinese, the locations are in China. Too funny.

Hey David, ever since I made the changes to the files to make the maps work, the program only runs in Google's Simulator. It ran just fine in Android's Simulators BEFORE the changes. Is this normal? Thanks.

Android apps are only setup / compiled against ONE library, Framework. In this case, Google API's 1.6. All buzztouch v1.4 apps are compiled against Google API's 1.6. If you've setup a simulator with Android's Frameworks then Google Maps functions will not work. So..yes...this is normal. No need to test your application in an emulator running anything OTHER than Google API's 1.6

Great thanks! Next I'll be looking for documentation on RENDERING and beta testing. Thanks, David.
