App rejected:

Have just had my first ever app review rejection and wondering why this is the case. The problem was that the screens included in the app appeared to be blank according to apple, which is strange considering that I downloaded a final source code compilation before submitting. Of course apple could easily fix this issue by hitting the refresh button which would have located all of the updated content. Anyway how will i approach this, should i simply do a redownload/package and resubmit? Cheeers

Hi in Boort: Of course Apple would reject an app that has 'blank' screens. It's imperative that you test your appliction on an actual device before submitting or approval. There are lots of discussions about this in the forum. Try searching 'rejected' for a few discussions. There are lots of approaches and many ways to configure where the data comes from in your application. Generally, it's best to make sure you have the latest configuration file included in your project when you compile so it WORKS when it launches without having to connect to the internet for updates.

David my app was tested numerous times on my device. This is the 4th app Ive made with Buzztouch and this time it appears to have caused an issue. Ive just redownload, packaged in xcode and submitted for approval again. This im assuming will include the latest config file Jarrod

Cool, sounds like you have it figured out. Not sure what else to add. Apple's tough sometimes but for sure will reject if it literally has blank-screens. This does sound strange, especially since you've tested and especially because you've done this before (most folks haven't). I usually test with NO interent connect first (after installing), then turn on WiFi and test that too. This can get tough if you're using an iPhone because it's impossible to test with no 3G in most cases (unless you live in the woods!).
