BuzzTouch not loading

Hi guys! I'm having strange issues connecting to this website from my desktop and laptop (same internet), but the sure loads perfectly fine on my cellphone... Whenever I go to BuzzTouch.com, it redirects me to Yahoo Search searching for BuzzTouch. Anyone know how to fix this?

Strange for sure? This is a very busy site with lots of traffic. I did hear a similiar issue a few months back but don't know if that visitor ever resolved it? Not sure how to advise? What happens if you Google buzztouch then click the link to our site? I ask because this may help us understand what's happening when you enter our domain in the address bar manually? Not sure really.

OK, good test, this confirms that it's not related to manually entering the address or clicking a link to the address. You could try (continuing to diagnose why your ISP doesn't like the URL). a) A secure url: Add the 's' to the url so it tricks your browser into loading a different site: https://www.buzztouch.com b) Flush your computers cached DNS: http://www.tech-faq.com/how-to-flush-dns.html c) Try a different browser on your computer. Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome, do they all take you to Yahoo? The strange thing is...why Yahoo search? This is strange and may be related to your ISP's way of handling unresolved domain names. If I type a bogus domain name in my browser bar it takes me to a Comcast search page. Comcast is my ISP. What ISP are you using on your home network (not your cell phone)

I tried all 3 options, none resolved the issue. I'm using Mediacom. When I type in a bogus website, it takes me to Mediacom's search.. Perhaps my IP was blocked from the site? I also tried plugging my computer directly into the modem rather than the wireless router.

When I use hidemyass.com, I can access the site up until login.

OK, so Mediacom in your ISP / Cable co. So far so good. I'm still not sure where Yahoo comes into play? And, I'm also not sure how hidemyass.com explains anything. It appears that they run web requests through a proxy to 'protect' their site visitors. Ah, the joys of the interent...work years putting together a service like ours only to have a service like theirs butcher the site, break it's intended layout, and promise to 'keep our visitors safe' - bummer to think thats even necessary. I suppose it's a good service for some situations... So..I'm thinking the only way to get this resolved will be contact Mediacom - they are the ones that route your internet requests and if they are not allowing you to contact our site there isn't much we can do to stop it?

Android, too funny. I'm happy to jump on the call with you if you think it will help. If you don't get anywhere...send an email to info 'at' buzztouch dot com with the name and contact info for the person you talked to. Can't be that tough? hidemyass.com: I spent sometime looking at their service, seems kinda neat afterall. I wish they would'nt plop a big banner on our site when using the service but it does make sense for lots of cases. Surprised more of us don't think more seriously about hour 'surfing' and the troubling idea that our URL requests could be hijacked! Scary. Keep this thread updated..interested to hear the resoluiton.
