Are the apps made by buzztouch hosted inside buzztouch or its completely native

I noticed that any update is done in my buzztouch account is updated inside the users app, without users have to download the update of the apps. Does this means that the apps made by Buzztouch are hosted within buzztouch and if anything happened to buzztouch servers, it means my apps will be lost.

Yes, that's exacty what it means ;-) If this is something that worries you (normal I suppose), there are lots of ways to configure your application to work without a dependency on the buzztouch backend. You could see the documentation or search for forums for 'offline' The idea is that you can: a) Setup your app to communicate with your buzztouch control panel (like you may have now) b) Setup your app to communicate with your self-hosted configuration file (very popular) c) Setup your app to NOT communicate with a backend server at all.

Thanks David, Where can I edit the app so it can function with each of the three options you mentioned? Can you send me the link to the documentation to do so as I could not find it. it will be great to have a ready source code where users can try them within buzztouch, like ebook app, rss app, profile app and others.

http://www.buzztouch.com/help http://www.buzztouch.com/docs/v1.5/ We intentionally don't provide 'packaged' source-code for apps. There are lots of reasons for this. Just made a lenghthy posts hear about the same topic: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=10608297F86BD057C74C0F9 If the docs are too complicated, and you can't figure out how to 'disconnect' your app...re-post. I think you'll get it ;-)
