Format a webpage for mobile

Hi, How do I format a webpage dedicated only to be viewed on a Smartphone? Is there a template that I can use? I'd be grateful to know. Kind regards, John

Hi John, There's a ton of info on the web about this that you should be able to find with a simple google search. If you're just directly accessing a page (or building a custom html in BT), at a minimum, you're going to want to set a meta tag like this in your header: <meta name=viewport content=width=device-width,initial-scale=1,user-scalable=no /> That will keep the parameters of the page within the mobile confines. You can take an existing page, and using a little browser identification, have it switch the css. Here's one good article: http://www.sitepoint.com/iphone-development-12-tips/ Hope this helps. Jeff

Your doctype at the top of your file needs to be as such: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC -//WAPFORUM//DTD XHTML Mobile 1.0//EN http://www.wapforum.org/DTD/xhtml-mobile10.dtd>
