Hire a developer

I constantly have clients asking me for apps to be created (and I've constantly sent them to elance or other sites) I'd like to hire someone for an hour or two just to assist me in discussing this latest app request, and maybe some assistance in either developing it, or helping me set up my JDE server etc. Not sure how people communicate outside of this forum (I don't see a messaging system) - but I really appreciate any help with this. Thanks

Have you had a look around the FAQs etc? I'm by no stretch an expert but if you have some specific questions folks on here will try and help. What do need? Do you have Apple and Android Dev account? Have you started making your first app? You'll get there. This site, the BT guys make it easy and there are tens of thousands of iOS apps out there made right here.

Hey man - thanks for the reply. I'm knee deep in a couple web design projects and this one particular client is antsy about getting an app. I really want to learn to develop these in good time, but for the moment it's a time thing to be honest,

Hey again, I hear you. Listen buddy, if you ate half decent at web design ad understand the whole asthetics thing you'll be able to get something up and started in no time here, trust me! What kind of features you need for app, what kind of company? iOS apps have to offer something outside norms of a website, Android not so much, no review process as such.

LOL (about Merlot) I'll check the FAQ's - but I'll ask here as well in case you can answer it quicker than I can search. His app would be a list of songs (he's a one man band entertainer) and a list of upcoming gigs etc. He wants the songs to be searchable though (there's hundreds of them)

You'll be able to do that without trouble. if you need help setting up Xcode I'll help you and get you up and running, no need to pay me. There is a chap on here, IanJamesPiano who has a decent app that sounds similar to what you want to do. I'll see if I can get him on the thread. If you do need help outside the thread one if the good gents above will serve you well. Happy Friday!
