Great idea and great site, however...

The loading speed, especially of the control panel modules, is super slow.

Usually the forum and the main control panel page load without too much delay, but the actual screen editing modules have always been very slow to load.

For example, after my last post it took two full minutes to load the layout page. It's not my browser, other sites load quickly enough.

It would be great if someone involved in the maintenance of this site could lend some insight into this.

I rarely have loading or performance issues with the BT servers. There were some slow downs when they were doing the android upgrades, but generally I haven't run into this issue very often.

@mmedia - You're certainly the first to mention a two minute loading time for a screen editing module. We haven't experienced anything on our end anywhere near that kind of delay. We were, as MGoBlue mentioned, experiencing a general site slowdown last week, but we have that cleared up now. In fact I just went through several screens and popup windows I have on a test app, and they all loaded within 2 seconds. We appreciate the heads up, and please mention if you or anyone else is experiencing anything like this in the future, but we don't see it on our end. Maybe it has something to do with a firewall setting on your router, etc?

No, it's not on my end, as I have no loading issues with other sites. It might be something about my app maybe, as it only seems to really slow down once I click the links to modify the app. I originally started out using 1.4, so maybe that has something to do with it.

This only happens once I click into the app control panel. No matter which link I click on to leave the control panel or access any of the modules, it takes minutes for the page to load. It seems to be happening only on url's that are encoded with the app's information. I'm going ro check this now with other browser to see if that makes a difference.

I'm using Safari now instead of FireFox and it's fast. Thanks for all the tips.
