iPhone/iPad Differentiation - Settings - Universal Binary

Hi, I am trying to publish BOTH an iPhone AND an iPad app, and A. I don't know where the settings are to differentiate (I'm on the early adopter program) between the two / how to do this within BuzzTouch B. How do I get around any Universal Binary settings issues so that ONE version of the app works for BOTH iPhone AND iPad? Thanks guys, Shawn

Both of these isssues that you are facing are found within Xcode, not BuzzTouch.

An app created with Buzztouch 1.5 by default is universal and will work with both iPad and iPhone. You can customize the look for each in the advanced settings tab of the various screens. That way you can use larger or different graphics for your iPad version, but keep all the same structure of the overall app. You can also specify different menu sizes and font sizes for the iPad.

Hey there. Where can I find the Advanced Settings Tab for each screen (iPhone and iPad). Thanks for all the wonderful feedback guys! Also, our iOS app just got rejected. I think because it uses all feeds and no native features. How can I add some native features within buzz touch that Apple would be happy with? Any advice on this front would be great. Thanks so much for this wonderful community feedback!

@shawnborgia- What about making all of the rudimentary content (i.e. tab pictures, icon pictures, menus, etc) part of the actual content package sent to Apple? In other words, try to make it so that not ALL of the content within the app is pulled from the internet? What kind of App is it? Need more info to help! :-)

@shawnborgia- Oh yeah, the advanced settings for each screen are located towards the bottom of the screen's page in BT, labelled 'Advanced Screen Properties'.

@Dkeller - Why do I still not see the advanced settings anywhere?? It's driving me crazy! Any chance you can provide further instruction? I'm in the early adopter program, so not sure if that's the issue. Thanks for your help.

Here is a screenshot of where it is...make sure you are in an actual screen. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3115570/Advanced%20Settings%20pic.docx Click on it and it will expand to a large menu of choices! I hope this helps!!

Hmmm. I am using the free version of Buzztouch, this feature must be for Enterprise because I do not have it as I view this screenshot!
