android: images in remote html doc using HTML Pro

I have various html pages interlinked with html pro plugin. For android, if I change the document location from a local file to a URL, I can't make images show up within the html page. Initially each page simple had images included via "image.png" with the image being located in the same directory as the html page (BT_Docs). This worked until I changed the document location. I tried changing the image URL inside the html file to http://www.example.com/image.png but it still won't show. No problem with iOS though. Any ideas? Many thanks

Hi Leon, The HTML currently looks like this: <p align="center"><a href="B6D32FD76B358A3DED70354"><img src="http://www.vaccination-information-portal.com/revisions/package_insert.png" alt="" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-210" height="34" border="0" width="170"></a></p> The image is then stored in the same directory as the html file (on a server) but doesn't appear in the app.

http://www.vaccination-information-portal.com/revisions/package_insert.png It is almost not visible, only see a very thin border line, is that normal?

Hi Leon, That in itself is fine. The image is white and in the app it's over a blue background. I just can't get it to appear in the app, now that the html file is not part of the bundle.

Sorry I don't mean you to feel like you are pulling teeth. In the plugin the document location is http://www.vaccination-information-portal.com/revisions/androidfluenztetra.html Again, it's all white font, so you'll have to highlight in order to see anything (or view source of course).

Yeah no problem. I will check it tomorrow as soon as I am at my computer. Just to be clear, everything shows, just not that one image? Right?

Everything else shows. It seems that if the html file is local, Android finds the image easily enough in BT_Docs. But once the html file is online, it all falls apart.

Yeah funny, works perfect if you use a Custom URL, but indeed, the image does not show up using the HTML Pro Plugin. Cant figure it out yet, maybe better to ask Chris anyway, but can't you use the file locally just so that you can go on for now? file:///android_asset/BT_Docs/package_insert.png

Hi Leon, That's actually a solution which works perfectly well for now. I didn't know it could be fixed this way. Thank you for taking the time. :)
