Android 1.5

I have a very basic question. My app in IOS works really well. Today I downloaded the code for Android and I am testing it. Do I need to rebuild the app? or is my app, that I created only when version 1.5 was for IOS, going to work in Android? Thanks M.

The theory is that you would not have to rebuild or start over with an android app. But, I'm finding that there are some things I'm needing to change to make them work in the Android version. For instance, many of my image files use a '-' in the name (ie. smith-header.jpg) Android won't accept '-' so I need to change the references to '_' instead (ie. smith_header.jpg). This does effect my iOS app, because I need to change the references within the buzztouch interface. Right now I'm working on an app that isn't live yet, so it's not a problem to make the change. But i've got a number of iOS apps I plan to make into 1.5 android apps, and need to figure the best way to make these changes.
