Nav Bar: Back Button Style Issue

How can one change the back button in the navigation bar, to display as per Apple's default button style? By default, I mean the arrow shaped button (facing left) that gives the back button some context. I have looked for how to do this, but to no avail. I am using BuzzTouch 1.5. As of now, my back buttons all display as a standard rounded-rect style button, while although common throughout UI's for things like tool bars, are distinctly different than the tape of the back nav button. In my opinion, a proper nav bar Back button should really use this style, to keep as close to HIG compliant as possible. Any quick way of setting this globally for an app would be appreciated!

Nothing? No way to change this? Any help from BT advocates/staff would be a huge help in answering, or otherwise finding some resolution to this

Hi jspoto, Sorry for a delayed response. We're kind of busy getting things ready for tonight's release of v1.5 for Android. We made a note of your request, but we haven't heard of one single complaint yet of an app being rejected over this issue, so implementing the change isn't a top priority for us right now. We do appreciate the input though. Everyone's contributions have help shaped our direction and made buzztouch what it is today. If this is a really big thing for you, you are free to dig into source code and try to modify it to meet your wishes. I believe you'll need to make some changes to the BT_viewUtilities.m file in your project. Look down around line 209.

Will do, thank you for the clue as to what source to dig into. I am quite comfortable doing so, but being relatively new to BT makes it difficult to quickly find where to supplement the classes when necessary. Help is appreciated, and and further advise is welcome...

I don't know if this trick or no... but I made some modifications inside BT_viewUtilities and I have now the back button I've created with a little help from two UIImages for StateNormal and StateHighlighted and resizableImageWithCapInsets(iOS5) and stretchableImageWithLeftCapWidth(all the previous versions). It's working perfectly... and looks exactly like Apple's default button. Ready to share.
