Quiz on iPad?

Ok, I have the quiz working on the iPhone and it works on the iPad simulator, but when I load the app to the ipad device the quiz tab does not show up. Is this a know issue, or am I just stupid and doing something wrong. Thanks.

Hi shockme66, This is a pretty common issue new users have. If you compile an app so it is ready to install on a device, the initial install will not reflect any changes you make to the apps control panel after the compile, until you either refresh the app within the device, or recompile the project and reinstall the app. That's why we ask everyone to be sure to test and use the latest project file when compiling and submitting to itunes/ the android market.

Parker, Thanks. So should I download the latest Xcode zip file and recompile prior to submitting to apple? Also, will I loose any pics/file I manually added to the project?

If you submit an app to apple and it prompts the tester to refresh the app the first time it loads, or a screen comes up as missing, they will almost certainly reject the app. So be sure your app is up to date and fully tested when you submit it. If you re-download your project and open it, you will need to add all of the images and files you wish to embed in it. The other option is to go in to your apps core properties and open the Configuration Data URL and then clicking 'Click here to show the apps configuration data'. This will open the apps latest Configuration file, which can be copied and used to replace the existing Config file in xcode. Replacing just the Config file will not require re-adding images, etc.

Thanks!! I just submitted my app today, no you have me thinking will it prompt for a refresh. I think I am ok as long as I don't mess with the BT settings. My last change was before I re-downloaded the source and tested it.

OK sounds good. Just don't mess around with that apps control panel until after it is approved. Even then, if you choose to do so afterwards, just be aware that it will prompt users to refresh their app when they load it up for the first time after the changes were made.
