My home screen

Whenever the app is opened for the first time after being downloaded from the app store, a screen pops up before the Splash Screen that is a blank menu list. It says My home screen menu at the top and there is a refresh button on the top left. Once the refresh button is pressed, it goes to the normal home screen and works fine. Just wondering how I can fix this issue and have it go from the splash to the real home page. The My home screen menu isn't listed on my Manage screens and menus either

Your app behaves this way and did get approved by apple? wow! Um, ok, so you say it behaves properly after the refresh? If that is the case, you'll want to resubmit your app to apple as an update, using the config file your app uses after refreshing. If you haven't changed your Configuration Data URL setting in the core settings screen then you should be able to just re-download your project from the buzztouch control panel. Whatever you do, just make sure you thoroughly test your app on the simulator and device successfully before re-submitting to apple.

Hmmm I'm having the same problem, testing out my app via ad-hoc mode(i've yet to submit to apple) after clicking the icon,it goes to a extremely raw My Home Screen menu. Is there anything I can change to point the BT-Config to the right menu instead of having the user refresh before it loads the correct home screen? Thanks everyone!

Hi byteblorg Like I was getting at above, if your app needs to refresh to look right, generally that means that you are using an older config.txt file in your project. Re-download your project and test that one out. It should appear as it is supposed to the first time it loads. Or another way of accomplishing the same thing: Open up the Core Properties in your apps control panel. Click on the 'Configuration Data' link, then the 'Click here to show the apps configuration data.' link. This will open up a new window displaying your apps current Config.txt information. You can copy this and paste it into your Config.txt file within xcode, overwriting the old file. Save and recompile.
