Does the theme define default text color?

I've looked through the settings, but was wondering if I missed it. I have a theme with a default bg color of black, and every time I create a Custom HTML/Text page, I have to set the font color. Is there a way to define a default text color for all these pages? Thanks!

I think you have to do text on your pages separately from the theme. There are a couple items the theme doesn't regulate that I've found I need to set up manually on pages.

That's what I figured. Not a big deal. Once I get my HTML workflow more solid it won't be a problem at all. I use the built in editor for speed-sake, but it seems really buggy (i.e. switching from 'source' to wysiwyg back to 'source' seems to add a bunch of unneeded tags). I used Front Page for so many years, but not that I switched to mac, I've been trying out a bunch, like text wrangler, etc. What I'd really like to find is a wysiwyg editor intended for creating iphone pages (perhaps making the default new document start with a 320 width, etc). Open to suggestions.

I use Dreamweaver for all my html. Took some getting used to. I also used Front Page for years before switching entirely to Mac.
