OIS|1.5| How to enable user settings

Hi Is there a way to enable end users to alter things like background colour by using settings pane? TIA John

Hi futurepacer, Not unless you want to get funky with the code. Have a look at the code in xcode and see if it looks like something you might want to tackle. Also, this is a cool idea, so I'll throw it into the future features to build pile. :D

Hi Happy to get stuck in to xCode if that's what it takes :-)) Thanks for adding it to the 'future features to build' :-)) In the meantime, if I have any success I'll post how it's done. Thanks

Hey futurepacer, I was looking into doing something similar by having the user change the theme from within the app. David had some interesting points in this thread. I haven't tried them, though. http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=9B8CDA4B01A05C04D8F60DC&status=&searchInput=theme&sortColumn=FT.dateStampUTC&sortUpDown=DESC¤tPage=1&doViews=1

Thanks will follow that up. In the meantime have found source code on Apple Dev site that does the job, and am working out how to link it to existing project. If you want to check it out it's called AppPrefs you can get it at: http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#samplecode/AppPrefs/Introduction/Intro.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/DTS40007799 Enjoy! John
