Link from custom HTML page to a Maps page?

Have come across a few threads relating to linking text to text from html docs in Xcode etc - eg: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=CAB06908314DDAB5ED9035C&status=&searchInput=link&sortColumn=FT.dateStampUTC&sortUpDown=DESC¤tPage=1&doViews=1 BUT haven't found any hints on linking from custom html page to a Map page created in the control panel.....??? I understand the logic for coding a hyperlink, but I just can't find a way to ref a page created within the Control Panel..... Any hints?? Tanx in advance.

Hey Wendy, The only relevant forum post I can recall is this one. It outlines the general idea but doesn't get into the nitty-gritty. http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=C5CB9C4E58A5D4DE9AD80D7

Thanks Parker. A bit too obscure for me, though.... don't know what to do... does it mean that linking to another screen is only possible by some complex Objective C coding...??? I take it that the maps screen created in Buzz Touch control panel doesn't have a ref in Xcode?

HI again... writing the same lame response as the previous post. Ignore that one if you want. There is a difference between linking two HTML documents (web pages) and linking to another buzztouch screen type. In other words, html links, <a> anchor tags will easily connect documents like on the normal web. But..it sounds like your're trying to load a new screen type from an HTML doc, a map in this case. This is totally different a bit sketchy... Just know it's a biiiii-tch to get it to work that way ;-) You can, just a pain. Maybe use the right-side navigation button on the HTML screen to load the map instead of a link in the HTML itself? Just an idea. With that being said, it is doable but is tough. If you want to tackle it I'm happy to try to walk you through it. The tough part is connecting what's in HTML to the Objective C like @Parker mentioned. Today it's for ninja's only. We do hope to figure out a way to make this easier, like give an HREF tag to each screen or something to allow this - just havn'et done it.

Tanx David, I'll go with the right button nav idea at the moment, but if the boss wants something different, I'll take you up on your generous Obj C walk through. Thanks so much for the help! ;]
