trying to dial from a web page

I tried to use the URL page and pasted my URL into it. The page shows up fine. the problem is, when I hit the phone number it says: web page not available The Web page at tel:8189999999 might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address Here's the kicker...When I go straight to the URL from my browser, everything seems to work, and the telephone number is sent to the dialer when I click it. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Do I need to do it through the app itself (ie fix the source code) or does it have to do with the webpage? Thanks in advance! In the meantime try creating a Custom HTML page and embedding it in your device. Use you phone link in that HTML file and test to see if it works.
