advertising choices other than admob

Anybody out there able to recommend some choices for advertsing platforms other than AdMob. From everything I have read, AdMob sucks in terms of what they pay out. It appears that iAd is great for iPads and iPhones but what about droids? Any info would be helpful. Al :)

Try Adwhirl (which can be accessed via Admob - Tools > Adwhirl) even if you are unable to integrate it, it gives a list of other networks you can use.

I have been doing some research on this issue, too. I have Admob sdk in my app and plan to create house ads using other cpa network offers for a percentage of my available ad space. You should focus on offers that have mobile-friendly landing pages for higher conversions. Sponsormob is a network that is all mobile and seems to have more offers than offermobi. Here's a list I've accumulated so far: Admob Adwhirl.com http://www.sponsormob.com/ https://www.blamads.com/webmaster/join/ Peerfly offermobi http://www.mobilecpanetworks.org/ iAds Airpush for android Mobfox //for European traffic Nexage.com Greystripe Inmobi.com ####### Avoid mobclicks. There are lots of thread comments about SLOW PAYMENT HASSLES. There was a good discussion on cpa networks here: Admob vs. mobclicks // http://www.androidsx.com/admob-vs-mobclix-2nd-round/

With cpa networks like blamads and peerfly, are you manually checking out the individual offers to see if they're mobile friendly, or can they be auto filtered?

Yes, I am manually looking at the landing pages, not only to verify they are mobile-friendly, but that I like the look of the ad copy itself along with the income potential and that the offer matches my user demographic.

hmmm, perhaps it might be worth contacting AM's to look at putting identifiers on mobile friendly offers? Could scrape offers or integrate the api's then... Whenever I check out offers, many of them are mobile compatible websites but then they let themselves down with stupid flash animations that just show up as an egg timer image on all but the latest phone models.
