Changing Does This Action For Location Type (v1.5)

This is probably more of a feature request than a question on how to do it, but I would like the ability to change the Does This action for a Tap This screen in a location screen. The situation I have is this : I created a Location Screen with several locations, and had them open a Custom HTML/Text screen when the info banner was touched. I loaded several of these locations, thinking this was the method I was committed to. I then decided to change to HTML Document instead (same information, but in a local HTML file), and it now appears I have to recreate the screen from scratch, including the lat/long and all that info. All I really wanted to do was change the Do This....not everything else. So, this would be a feature request, unless these exists a way to do this (without modifying a downloaded BT_config.txt file, because that still leave the incorrect one on the server). Thank! Mark

Hey Mark, What you're asking for totally makes sense and it is on the list of feature improvements. The only way around having to recreate individual locations whenever you want to make a change is to have the map screen pull its data from a Data URL file. In that case you would just modify the JSON data that the screen reads to build the map locations.

Hi Parker, Cool...good to hear that it's made it on the list! There have been a couple times I've wanted to change the screen type, and had to start from scratch. And, the workaround you stated makes technical sense, but the main reason I'm changing the screen type in the first place is to remove the need to pull data from an online location. So, it wouldn't help too much in this situation. Thanks! Mark
