Users just have to change a setting on their phones to allow 3rd party installs. Best to offer your visitors clear instructions on your webpage on how to do it. I think apple is pretty tricky to get apps approved, especially if the app is essentially stuff that could be accessed via a native browser. Comments That would be impossible!
